One brother hated humans and the other tolerates them.

...I know there were probably a million reasons it ended up like that, but I'm going to cite the lack of ocean as a contributing factor. If you could find a nice, deserted island for your brother to relax on, he might have had time to calm down.

It's not -- tolerating. I believe in humanity because I've seen the love they're capable of.

I know that not all humans are good people. But for every instance of cruelty, I can think of a moment of kindness. It's impossible to write all of humanity off, having seen what I've seen. I lived among them for a century and a half . . . Knives didn't.

Sometimes I wonder, if he'd ended up somewhere like this, if maybe I could've gotten through to him . . . I dunno.

...Thinking about it too hard won't change the past. I don't know if it makes it better or worse, but sometimes people are just like that. Not everyone cares about others. Your brother might not have cared about a single human even after a thousand years. I don't think that's bad; the issue is when he starts killing everyone because he feels that way.

And if you keep talking about humans like that I'm going to dump this tea on your head.

He seems to have some issues with humanity to work out. I know a lot of that is mixed up with your brother, so every time I try to talk to him about it I just get a bunch of "you don't understand" responses. And since I can't even punch him in the face no matter how much I want to, I'm officially passing the matter over to you to deal with.

I don't know what's surprising about it. I can pretty much use any kind of weapon, but this one seemed like the most useful so I got it back from Red first.
