... fine. Quarter them while you're at it, I'm going to dry them over a low fire later. If they're dried and ground, it's easier to get them into soups and things like that, so I've heard...
Oh, I love them in a good curry! I haven't had "hotpot", but... it sounds interesting. Anyhow, I've separated the really meaty ones already. They're in the icebox.
( he will call the freezer and fridge icebox interchangeably. )
These aren't as substantial... so drying them is fine.
It's not really cold enough out for hotpot, but we should make it for dinner sometime now that we have the tools for it! It's fun to eat with everyone around a big table. Curry would be amazing too, but I feel like we'd need more rice.
[sets about cutting mushrooms for drying; he does also poke his head into the fridge to see how big the meatier mushrooms are]
Well, if we have a particularly bad storm, perhaps we'll have that chance.
( they're pretty meaty! they look like they've been well-kept and like perci took a lot of care to cut as little as possible so they were kept intact for cooking. most of what he's cleaning and cutting little bits off of are definitely smaller species that won't be substantial enough to serve on their own, but would probably be better mixed in rice and soups and such. )
There's still plenty to do inside, if you're worried about getting bored. We have a nice huge spa now, but that spa also still needs to be cleaned from time to time. And so on.

A big storm might be kind of nice. We'd all be stuck inside because of the weather.

( said under his breath. )
Though I suppose it's good for new growth.

( perks up, like the little workaholic that he is. )
It does need to be cleaned. Yes, that's true... we'd probably need some lemons from Daffodil for that...

( just like that, his wings flutter happily, mentally planning a nice deep clean for a rainy day. )
