With this, you do have a choice. You don't have to die from this. If you think you can avoid acting on that emotion for...what, a week or two? Statistically we'll die again at some point. We can just make plans to take it out the next time you die. It's morbid to think of it that way, but I do think it's a viable option.

I get it. It's hard to say how you'll react in the moment. ...I'm guessing you aren't the only one who got this punishment, since three flocks lost. We can see how Daffodil and Rose handle it, maybe. If activating it is a painless option then that might be easier on you than having you be out while we replace your heart.

Pretty sure Charon said something about it being a seed and roots in it. So that says "less explosion, more something ripping it apart" which ain't painless.

I didn't say it was a guarantee. It's a punishment, so I'm guessing it won't be easy. But the bombs weren't as bad as I feared, so if you're not in a rush then we can at least gather information to be sure.
