Well, she ran into me. I'm almost certain she stole something of Lyra's - a precious photo of her family.

The point is that she injured me again, through the chest this time. She took a memory of mine, but... I obviously don't know what it was. Be careful around her, alright? She can puppet people as well, I learned.

[he has no idea what happened and didn't hear anything, but he does chalk it up to something going on while they were getting everything settled for the ritual]

Ah--wait, wait. So she has a family photo of Lyra's, and she has your memory? Is she just stealing things for fun, or did she want something in exchange?

She has the photo still... she doesn't have the memory, or - rather, she transformed the memory into a solid object, which was a lamp. Fifi has the lamp now, since I didn't want to risk anything happening to the memory while I was coming to Lily.

If she attacked me again... ( hesitates. ) As for why she was stealing things, I'm not sure. She didn't ask for anything in exchange.

Okay. Can you have Fifi bring the lamp here? It shouldn't be too hard to figure out how to put your memory back in safely.

Charon wanted to figure out if he could do that as well. Perhaps you both could?

I've lived most of my life without a bulk of my memory, with near certainty that they'd never return. If I don't get it back, I can't say I'll be that upset, really...

Yeah, but, there's no reason not to get it back since you can. We're setting up the security system right now, and no one even knew it was down, so Lily's pretty safe to at least hold onto your memory while we see about putting it back where it belongs.

Mm, that's true. I just mean... that the pressure to get it right so to speak isn't too intense.

I would, honestly, prefer to keep it close to me.

Then why don't you call Fifi and have him bring it over right now? I doubt he would mind, as long as he isn't busy. Whether you're used to it or not, no one likes their memories being missing.

I-I'll ask. He might be busy, but I trust that he'll bring it over when he can.

I healed it. I'm not saying it because it's not a priority, but... he became a Clover while protecting Lyra and I.

I seem to remember a very big fuss when you became one of Lily, too. It's probably the same for him.

Lethe, I remember asking Styx if I should bite you. It was a bit of a fuss.

It was a completely different situation. I was the first one to have a collar change, and everyone had come over to see what happened because they heard gunshots. Aside from whatever you talked about with Styx, I think everyone was pretty normal? And I just went about my day after the first fifteen minutes.

Fifi was stabbed and puppeted by magic glass before his collar changed, and he doesn't have fear resistance.

It wasn't a big deal though. You just said you asked Styx if you should bite me, so I didn't seem injured or anything at the time, right?

I wasn't trying to compare them, I was just saying it didn't seem like a big fuss for me since you brought it up. It doesn't have anything to do with whether or not someone has fear resistance. If he needs rest after a big fight, that's fine.

... we probably all need one.

I don't need to ask, really, but could you check on Lyra? I... I think I'll probably be sleeping most of the day.
