[there's a tug of resistance, like the gate doesn't want to let anyone in. but, it's only a little tug, and she can push right through it to step through.
the landscape inside is a bit nonsensical: half of it is a snowy forest, completely average-looking except for the fact that there is a living room plopped right in the middle of the trees. the other half is the interior of a cave, dark and grimy with only blue bits of glowing moss to light the way further in.]
[can't believe she doesn't want to talk to Lethe smh
there's nothing stopping her from heading into the cave, though, so she can step right inside. it doesn't look like an Earth cave, if she's familiar with those at all: the cavern is massive, with ceilings so high up that it's hard to make them out even in the dim lighting. the blue moss covering some of the rocks offers enough light along the cave floor that she won't trip while exploring.
further in, the moss is interspersed with small shining crystals, and she can make out the sound of soft growling somewhere in the distance]
[She always wants to talk to Lethe. But she also doesn't want to wake him up.]
[This massive cave with a too-high ceiling feels like home to her. The moss and crystals are inviting and pleasant, and the distant growling feels like a siren song somehow. Is this the place where she belongs?]
[She pads into the cave on silent feet, keeping to the shadows along one wall through force of habit.]

[That's how she first met him, after all.]

[....And I guess we're going to find out, because unless something else jumps out at her as important, she's going to head into that cave.]
