--You're gonna be a big brother! Or, well, you're already a big brother if you've got Tyson, but it's different when you're older. Does she know if it's a boy or a girl yet?
Not yet. I just found out, like, a couple of days before landing here. It'll still be a little before she knows for sure. But yeah, I'm pretty excited about being a big bro to the baby. I was gonna ask Ananke for tips, but I think I gotta ask you too.
Ananke's advice is probably more relevant than mine. He gets along great with his sister. Not that I don't get along with my brother, of course, but I also raised him. Ideally you'll just babysit from time to time once your little sibling is older, like Ananke does.
It's all kind of a blur if I'm honest. Fifteen, I think? I dropped out of high school and started working full time. Yoohyun wanted to be a doctor, originally, so I wanted to have enough saved up to send him to a good school once he graduated.
[ remembers what lethe said about the time travel during emotionshare. thinks about this.
...ouch. ]
That's kind of like what happened to my mom. She had to drop out of high school because of some stuff with her family. She got her diploma by doing night classes, back when I was really little.
You know enough to appreciate all of her hard work! Not every kid does. I'm sure she's proud of you. It's worth any hardship to see you grow up well. At least, that's how I feel with my brother. I have a feeling she's the same.
That's not really what I mean. Everyone should have someone looking out for them, especially someone like you who's always looking out for other people.
I don't know if our worlds both being crazy is a good thing. I'd be happy if we could both live peaceful lives. But I also know it helps to have someone who understands your situation. If I can offer that much, I'm satisfied. Though I'll still get you those letters of recommendation too, of course.

Re: day 81ish
Your mom had the right idea. That's what a lot of people do when they're old enough. But it's not easy.

Appreciating her is the literal least I can do. And I'd bet your brother appreciates what you did for him a lot, too.
Re: day 81ish
He does! I know he does. He's always trying to look out for me.

That's great to have though. Your world sounds about as crazy as mine.
