...We weren't really talking back then. We got into a fight after he Awakened and he moved out. Whenever we saw each other after that we'd just argue. We were just shitty to each other for years, honestly.

As soon as I turned back time I told him I loved him, and...he let me back into his life just like that. I didn't find out until later that he'd been keeping his distance from me and acting cold to try and keep me out of dungeons because some people were targeting me.

There was a lot we couldn't tell each other back then, so I'm trying to make up for it now.

I can't pretend to know what family dynamics are like, and I'm a petty, grudge-holding person on top of it...

But I suppose it was a matter of difficult times and stilted communication, one that you were able to solve by being forthright.

What about these people targeting you?

My brother already paid me back ten times over for all of the arguments we had over those years. There aren't any grudges to hold, by me or anyone else. And even if there somehow was, the current Yoohyun didn't do any of those things, so there's no reason to put any misplaced feelings onto him.

[rests a cheek on Perci's shoulder, offering wordless thanks. no petty grudges are needed here, but he appreciates the thought]

And the piece of shit that was bothering us is dead.

I wouldn't want to get on your bad side. I haven't even seen everything you can do and I know you're a force to be reckoned with. But you might run into some trouble with these guys. They're...ah...pretty powerful beings. We have to be careful when dealing with them.

... that only makes me want to fight them more...

I wouldn't refuse the help, but that's a long-term project. The most troublesome ones are dead, but a bunch more are going to jump in and take their place.

So it's an organization sort of group... I see. No way to smoke them out.

You come from a different world than me, right? Most of us here are all from different worlds. These people live...ah, separate from that. Their worlds were destroyed a long time ago. The spaces they live in are more like pocket dimensions than worlds.

I'm not the best person to explain it. But, uhm, you know how we could go into your subconscious and it was like a physical space while we were there...? A pocket dimension is a bit like that, but not inside of someone's head.

... that's not fair, though. Ugh, unbothered because it doesn't affect them...

Yeah. It pisses me off. They act like gods deciding our fates when they can be killed just like any of us.

No. I'm very stressed and would like to go home. I have a lot of things to do.

That makes both of us. Well... I would miss the people here, but still...

...Mm. I'd miss you guys. But I know we all have things to do back home. It's not like we can help that.

It's unfortunately true. Finding our way home is the best solution, but if we could find a way to still be connected somehow... well, that would be ideal.
