These ones are out of my league. I was hoping to find something regarding fae magic, specifically, but I couldn't make it through the first few chapters. If you find anything on fae magic or dream magic, flag it. Or anything about "ideal worlds".

This is for Aides. I talked to Tart about his memories glitching. He said that everyone in their school is trapped under a sleeping spell by someone who is trying to make them be "reborn" into their perfect dream worlds where they don't have to deal with suffering or loss. It sounds like a student named Malleus Draconia is responsible. He has fae blood, and I think dragon blood too. That's a...separate part of their world that I'm still trying to work out.

I talked to Aides a little bit about it. He knows something is off about his memories, but any time he tries to think about it, it just slips out of his mind. ...I didn't tell him what Tart told me, since it seemed like he'd forget anyways, but I did ask him to dig up anything that he thought might be useful regarding Malleus. He might be able to break himself out of his own dream if he works at it. The issue after that would be...how it impacts him.

We tested the memory issue during the bartending ritual. It's as you say.

[settles himself down either on a free seat or the edge of the bed, with the air of someone who does at least know what he is doing here]

[he just has the bed in his room so it's the only place to sit; he grabs a different book and makes room so he can plop down to read too]

Thanks. I'm not great at research to begin with, honestly. So I feel like I'm missing a lot, especially with subjects I've never worked with before.

[cracks one of the books, drawing his finger down the page with a quiet thoughtful sound]

I know how to research, but I am somewhat out of my depth with otherworld magic as well. We will fumble through it together.

All we need to do is fumble through just enough to find potential causes and solutions.

[starts flipping through his own book and jotting down notes]

[it can be a peaceful time of hitting the books and finding a few more useful tidbits...Charon does eventually excuse himself, but at least they've got some stuff sorted.]
