Worried? I didn't realize he was taking it very seriously. If he is, that means he's considered all of the positive and negatives. What's there to worry about?
One time, he said to me... immortals do die, but slowly, inch by inch. And that he isn't interested in an existence like that.
If anyone is strong enough to handle it, it's him. But he'll also experience more personal loss than he ever would have, living a normal human lifespan.
Charon's view of immortality is...colored by his personal experiences. I'm not saying it's wrong. Just that each person is bound to handle a long life differently. An extra hundred years isn't that long, is it?
[it's phrased very much as a question directed at Minuet; he's the only one between the two of them who would know how long a hundred years is]
You could try it as a thought experiment for the future, though. Since you won't be lonely from now on.
[nudges him a little]
And...I'd like to live long. Maybe my views on living a long time are too optimistic. But I don't think I'd get bored. And I wouldn't be lonely since everyone else I know is going to live a long time.
[oh no, a Genuine Smile. wraps an arm around him in a half hug]
That means you're going to be fine too. I'm going to have you working your butt off terraforming your planet for the next few years. Or however long it takes.

I can't not worry about it.

He did ask me if I thought it would've made a difference. Having someone like Styx all that time.
Re: probably night 62
Re: probably night 62
... I think so.
It's just difficult to truly imagine it.
Re: probably night 62
Come on. This is a dream. If there's one place you can imagine it, it's here.
Re: probably night 62
There's no point in doing it now.
But -- if you lived as long as Charon did, maybe my worries are for nothing.

No. If it's like that, you're gonna be just fine.

Re: probably night 62
Bites back what he might say here due to: the character development doesn't happen for another week. ]
... Yeah. Maybe you're right.
Re: probably night 62
[uses this opportunity to try and tip Minuet sideways on the couch]
You don't normally get a good night's sleep, do you? Rest while you're here.
Re: probably night 62
... How can you get extra sleep when you're already in a dream...
Re: probably night 62
You wake up extra well-rested, in my experience. It feels like waking up from two dreams though.
Re: probably night 62
... Incorrect.
