A great deal of normal courting is done through balls and society events, which we have little access to here. The rest is really at the couple’s discretion—finding activities they enjoy. Meals, theatre, local sightseeing, that sort of thing.

Then aside from the balls it's pretty similar. Except I'm sure rich people back home have balls too; just not the rest of us.

Hard to say if the etiquette's the same. Perhaps I'll make it a point to find out.

It's the first one we're calling a date. But that's hard to quantify since we live together and spend a lot of time together. Do rituals count as dates?
