The whispers are not so loud that you're forced to talk over them or anything like that, but it is a constant static in the background, one that is difficult to ignore wholesale. You'll find you catch odd phrases like the following:
I had a feeling that game would be excessive... it always is when those families start to show up in these performances. No one even attempted to take the other way out, I'm surprised...
I'll try to assist as much as I can, but my own limits are what they are.
[sighs]
I'd hate to ask the Ticketmaster for help, but I think it's probably necessary in this case.
[During endgame, you'll all find that you're back with SOME of the injuries and effects from the game. You'll be left with 1-3 effects at most from the game (although if you do one more or smth for ooc reasons, I will probably never know lets be real, just don't make it a weird IC point).
You can adjust physical injuries and mental injuries to make your character playable, but hopefully only carrying 1-3 of them should make that easier, but they should still reflect the severity if possible!
Status Effects post-performance for reference: -You'll find that you keep tripping, you have no control as to when or where, and each fall is quite painful. You'll be bruised pretty good by the time this is over with. -You can turn invisible at will; however, if your emotions get too strong, you can't control it and will turn invisible at random. -You receive severe burns on parts of your body. (hands and back)
Status Effects post-performance for reference: -Deep hunger (can be ignored with willpower) -Complete lack of inhibitions. Good luck, no one can stop you once you're determined to do something. -You'll feel and experience part of your body being flattened, especially bones that just seem to disintegrate. Even as it looks like the limb starts to reform, it just flattens again. (arm)
[arrives covered in blood and carrying one Vincent C. Frost in his arms. that doesn't last for long, though, because as soon as he takes a step he trips and they both tumble to the ground with a painful sound. this seems to have happened a few times; he just stops and catches his breath for a minute.]
[Lea rolls into endgame looking relatively unharmed, with the exception of his arm appearing to constantly flatten and then reform. he grits his teeth every time it happens, but his attention is on checking the immediate vicinity to see who looks bad off before heading for Forge with whatever pick-uppable Forges he can herd that way.
his toolbox is also: overflowing with vegetables, flowers, and metal hand parts. the insatiable Forge Urge to collect things that you weirdly get from performances is somehow not a side effect from the performance itself.]
PERFORMANCE WINS/MEMORIES
WHISPERS
The whispers are not so loud that you're forced to talk over them or anything like that, but it is a constant static in the background, one that is difficult to ignore wholesale. You'll find you catch odd phrases like the following:
Not yet.
It's lonely.
I'll fix everything.
You cannot go home.
I'll lose everything
I'll never get this chance again
I can't go home.
I'll be watching over you no matter where I am.
Don't leave me alone.
I'm truly a blessing.
I'm truly cursed.
But look, who is skipping right behind you?
Tick tock tick tock
Even if only one person loves you, you're loved.
I am still alive.
Look above you
And they lived happily ever after.
